We offer a range of traditional and heritage varieties of fruit trees and bushes as well as modern productive types.
Fruit trees
Tiptoe through the tempting variety of different fruits available. We have grown a fair number of them ourselves over the years, supplied premium fruit to top restaurants and still sell fruit at our local farmers’ market.
If you are looking for a fruit tree or bush for a garden or patio, an allotment or even an orchard, we can advise on rootstocks and specific varieties suitable for your needs and location.
Our fruit trees and bushes, roses and peonies are available bare root by mail order from November to March.
Buying bare root is an excellent way to start. Follow the planting instructions and you will be rewarded with a plant that establishes well, puts on good growth – all at an affordable price.
Roses
The sheer beauty of the rose is timeless. Our favourites include classic shrubs through to top performing modern varieties.
Peonies
Equally captivating are the different forms of peonies in all their blowsy glory. Long lived, robust plants, they lend a distinguished presence to any garden.
The woodland plants we stock include those that enchant us on a daily basis in our own woodland. Some may be less showy but their understated charm is undeniable.
